Provost Sullivan welcome reception

President Mary Sue Coleman is scheduled to welcome new Provost Teresa Sullivan during a reception 4-5:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the ballroom of the Michigan League.

The reception will include remarks at 4:30 p.m. from President Coleman, Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Lester Monts and Sullivan.

Fellowship competition announced

The Center for Russian and Eastern European Studies (CREES) invites applications from U-M faculty to the Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professional Development Award Program, which supports short-term travel. Applicants are invited to propose projects in any field of research or teaching with a faculty partner at a Slovak institution of higher education.
