The University Musical Society will honor flutist Sir James Galway, pictured with wife, flutist Lady Jeanne Galway, with the 2008 UMS Distinguished Artist Award at the 13th Annual Ford Honors Program Gala at 6 p.m. May 10 at Hill Auditorium.
