Michigan Radio helps candidate evaluation

In advance of Michigan's presidential primary Jan. 15, Michigan Radio has made available Select A Candidate, an online game created by American Public Media which allows users to assess how their political interests, opinions and views match up with those of the candidates. Select A Candidate can be accessed on Michigan Radio's Web site at www.michiganradio.org/selectacandidate. Users choose the response that best fits their opinion and then rank the importance of that issue. The game reflects back to the user which candidates most closely fit their values. Michigan Radio broadcasts at 91.7 FM in southeastern Michigan, 91.1-FM in Flint, and 104.1 FM in western Michigan.

English classes scheduled

English classes for the families of international students, faculty and staff are offered by the U-M Northwood Community English Language Program. Registration is available at the Northwood Community Center for child, teen and adult classes. Native speakers of English are invited to participate in volunteer conversations. For more information call 764-9998 or e-mail northwood@umich.edu.
