U-M head football coach Lloyd Carr resigns

University of Michigan football head coach Lloyd Carr announced today (Nov. 19) his retirement from coaching after 28 seasons with the Wolverine program. Carr is second to only Bennie Oosterbaan (31 years; 20 years as an assistant and 11 years as head coach) in years of service with the nation's winningest college football program. More>

Architecture addition OK'd for 2010 finish

The Board of Regents Thursday approved the schematic design of a $13 million classroom and office addition to the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning. Construction on the 16,300- square-foot project is expected to be complete by spring 2010. More>
