A reception for Oneiric Artifacts, an exhibition of intensely-colored works in clay by Susan Crowell, is scheduled for 5 p.m. Sept. 7 in the Residential College Art Gallery. Crowell's latest work addresses formal problems of volume, extension and inflation while interrogating aspects of physical presence. This opening reception celebrates the hyper-physical sculptures and installations based on dream fragments and tactile experiences.
