Photo: Beshty's photograms at UMMA

"Fold," by London-born, Los Angeles-based artist Walead Beshty, is presented at the U-M Museum of Art. Beshty's photograms are created by folding large sheets of unexposed photo paper into three-dimensional forms and exposing them to variously-colored lights, to produce geometric fields in which areas of color are interwoven with passages of luminosity.
