Photo: '150 Years of Astronomy' at the Bentley

This 1932 photo of U-M astronomers looking through a telescope while on an expedition is among artifacts presented in the exhibit Star-Gazing: 150 Years of Astronomy at U-M, through April 30 at Bentley Historical Library. The exhibit celebrates the Astronomy Theme Semester with an exploration of the history of astronomy at U-M through photographs, letters, journals, drawings and other rarities, beginning with the construction of the Detroit Observatory on campus. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays through April 30 in the library at 1150 Beal Ave. Sponsored by the Bentley Historical Library, 764-3482 and bentley.umich.edu/.
