Health care and retirement savings plan changes

The university will go forward with increases to the health care costs paid by employees and retirees enrolled in U-M plans and will implement a waiting period for future employees to receive university contributions to retirement savings, university leaders said in a message to faculty and staff March 20. When the new building of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business opened its doors to the public last semester, the new facilities encouraged students to create what some call a community.
