‘Ready to Launch’ to offer students career advice

The Alumni Association is hosting “Ready to Launch,” a program designed to help graduating seniors get ready to take off in their careers.

Students are invited to drop by the Alumni Center Founders Room from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 2 to make connections that can help them settle into a new city, help with their job searches and assist them in finding career mentors.

Job search advisors from The Career Center, a unit in the Division of Student Affairs, and several other units will be on site to offer one-on-one resume and cover letter reviews, provide interview tips, coach students on their professional pitch and help them strategize the next steps for their careers.

Students are encouraged to pre-register for free gifts and guaranteed appointment times at alumnicareerservices@umich.edu. Find more information about the program at www.umalumni.com/students.
