Photos: Glass House Café dedication

Teresa Sullivan, (above from left) provost and executive vice president for academic affairs; Loren Rullman, associate vice president for student affairs; and Philip Hanlon, vice provost for academic and budgetary affairs cut the ribbon to officially open the Glass House Café, a new restaurant located within Palmer Commons. All three expressed sentiments of welcome to the new campus gathering place. "Over meals we mourn loss, celebrate new beginnings, resolve differences, plan for football victories, teach our children manners and respect for elders, meet new people and launch new ideas," Rullman said. Below, the coffee counter features modern American fare utilizing local ingredients. The Glass House Café is open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. during the week and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays.
