TIAA-CREF to speak on volatile markets

The Benefits Office will sponsor two campus sessions designed to help retirement investors understand the factors that prompted the U.S. financial crisis and the strategies investors can use to help keep their retirement savings plans on track for the long term. Brett Hammond, managing director of investment strategy for TIAA-CREF Asset Management, will discuss the current economic challenges and their impact on retirement investing. Hammond's presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend one of two offerings:

• 2:45 - 3:45 p.m. Oct. 28, Chesebrough Auditorium, Chrysler Center (North Campus)

• 1-2 p.m. Oct. 29, Rackham Auditorium, Rackham Graduate School
