Ronni L. Sanlo of Jacksonville, Fla., has been named the new coordinator of the Universitys Lesbian-Gay Male-Bisexual Programs Office, effective June 1.
Since 1987, Sanlo has served as human services program manager in the AIDS Surveillance Program Office, Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.

In addition, she has worked as a hospital family-group therapist, a vocational rehabilitation specialist and manager, and a state lobbyist on lesbian and gay civil rights issues.
Sanlo has a bachelors degree in music and English from the University of Florida, and a masters in mental health counseling and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of North Florida.
