Speaker Peter Osnos, publisher of Times Books, a division of Random
House, will talk on From the Front Page, To the Book Page. The free, public program is hosted by the Michigan Journalism Fellows program.
Osnos is responsible for publishing 5565 titles a year in public affairs, biography, business and economics, media, and science and health.
He has worked with such authors as Tip ONeill, Jimmy Carter, Roger Rosenblatt, Peggy Noonan, Clark Clireem Abdul Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Sam Donaldson, Morley Safer and Jim Lehrer, as well as many journalists from the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and other newspapers.
Osnos was a journalism fellow at the U-M in 1974. This lecture is part of the Seventh Annual Reunion of Michigan Journalism Fellows.
