Media Union formally opened

Michigan Gov. John Engler (left), U-M President James Duderstadt (center) and Regent Philip Power (right) were among hundreds of faculty, students, staff and guests who attended the dedication of the Media Union on June 21. The Media Union will house digital libraries, virtual reality laboratories, multimedia training studios, video conference facilities, and digital sound/video performance and design studios.
