Design Expo features student work

Mechanical engineering student Kedar Sathe (left) explains a metal cutting machine he helped design. The device was one of 20 exhibited last week at the annual Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics Senior Design Expo at the College of Engineering. Sathe's group developed and built the machine to meet specifications set by R & B Machine Tool Co. of Saline, one of several companies that provided design problems for the students to solve.
