Architecture students look at Kerrytown Concert House

'The class’s challenge was to make the building better,’ Harold Borkin says. 'The objectives I gave the students were to enlarge audience capacity and improve sight lines, sound and comfort.’ Borkin and graduate student Angela Fleming look at the exterior of the Kerrytown Concert House with an eye to enlarging the audience seating from 110 to more than 150.

Women's softball team captures Big Ten title

Members of the women’s softball team congratulate each other after they beat Wisconsin to clinch the championship and finish off the season. The number 4-ranked U-M team scored a 12-hit, 7-4 victory at Alumni Field on May 2. The victory marked a conference record-setting sixth Big Ten title for the Wolverines.
