The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is looking for a man in connection with a strong-armed robbery that occurred at approximately 7:18 a.m. Nov. 7 outside the Martha Cook residence. The victim was grabbed and wrestled to the ground. The suspect demanded money, which was removed from the victim’s pocket. No weapons were seen or implied. The assailant fled on foot, eastbound on South University Avenue.
The suspect was described as a male with brown eyes, who may have a mustache. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs 180–200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown ski mask with eye and mouth cutouts, a blue hooded sweatshirt and black gloves.
