Faculty office space a priority
This office in Haven Hall
is representative of the conditions in which some LS&A faculty find
themselves. A private office for every tenured and tenure-track
faculty member and shared office space in good condition for every
graduate student assistant is one of LS&A Dean Shirley Neumans
goals that will be met by the soon-to-be-launched $86 million renovation
of LS&A facilities. Click here for story. Photo

Art-in-a-Box show opens Oct. 1
When Todd Cashbaugh told art and design alumni about the Oct. 1 exhibition in the Jean Paul Slusser Gallery, he specified that the submitted work must be no larger than 12.5 x 11 x 1.5 inches because that box is what your artwork must arrive in. The alumni show will be on display in the gallery through Oct. 15. See what happens when people who think outside the box make their work fit inside one, Cashbaugh says. Photo by Bob Kalmbach
