MHealthy still encourages scheduling an appointment in advance, as people with appointments will be taken first so they can complete the screening within 30 minutes. To schedule a wellness screening appointment, go to www.mhealthy.umich.edu. The last screening date is April 24.

“We’re making walk-in appointments available for those who may have missed their appointment, could not find an appointment that fit their schedule or are unable to schedule a specific date and time because of changes in their calendar,” says LaVaughn Palma-Davis, senior director, Health and Well-being Services, University Human Resources.

To expedite the screening process, Palma-Davis also recommends completing the StayWell online Health Questionnaire, available at https://umich.online.staywell.com/includes/login/index.aspx, prior to the screening appointment and bringing the assigned StayWell User ID and Password. For questions about the online Health Questionnaire, call (800) 926-5455.

Participants learn their cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose levels and talk with a health professional to identify health risk factors. Benefits-eligible faculty and staff members hired before March 1 who complete their wellness assessment qualify for a $100 pre-tax cash incentive.
