MHealthy plans drop-in sessions to help with
Rewards registration

Beginning Wednesday through May 7, MHealthy is offering onsite drop-in sessions to help benefits-eligible faculty and staff with the first step in the MHealthy Rewards program — completing a health questionnaire offered through Staywell®, a national provider of health improvement services.

MHealthy staff will be on hand to help employees complete the health questionnaire online. Paper versions of the questionnaire also will be available at each site.

“We don’t want anyone to walk away from their $100 incentive just because they don’t have access to a computer or perhaps had problems navigating Staywell’s website,” says LaVaughn Palma-Davis, senior director of University Health & Well-Being Services. “We are doing whatever we can to make sure that anyone who qualifies and wants to participate in MHealthy Rewards has an opportunity to do so.”

Onsite drop-in sessions are available:

• Wednesday – Michigan Union, 530 S. State St., Parker Room, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Thursday – Pierpont Commons, 2101 Bonisteel Blvd., Boulevard Room, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Friday – University Hospital, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., 2G209, 6 a.m.-11 a.m.; East Ann Arbor Health & Geriatrics Center, 4260 Plymouth Road, Lower Level Conference Room, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• May 3 – University Hospital, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., Towsley Link (The Link), 7 a.m.-6 p.m.; KMS Building, 3621 S. State St., Conference Room 5, 8:30 a.m.-11 a.m.
• May 4 – Plant Building Services, 109 E. Madison, Conference Room, 6 a.m.-10 a.m. and 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
• May 5 – University Hospital, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., B1H102, 6 a.m.-11 a.m.

• May 7 – MHealthy Office, 2850 S. Industrial, Suite 600, Conference Room A & B, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The deadline to complete the health questionnaire was extended to May 7. Currently, more than 13,000 employees have completed the questionnaire.

Benefits-eligible faculty and staff can receive a $100 before-tax incentive for completing the questionnaire and two health and well-being activities in 2010.

MHealthy Rewards is part of U-M’s worksite wellness program. Research suggests that programs like these are good investments, helping to improve health and reduce costs.
