Demonstrations feature lower-calorie meal makeovers

Sign-up begins today for MHealthy’s GOOD CHOICE free chef demonstrations, in which participants learn how to make healthy and satisfying lower-calorie meals.

The presentations on Oct. 14, 28 and Nov. 2 include food samples, recipe ideas and tips on quick meals. Registration is required and space is limited.

The hour-long sessions are free to faculty and staff and offer the opportunity to learn how to make delicious, lower-calorie meals that are healthy and satisfying. Each event includes food samples, recipe ideas and tips on healthy eating and quick meal preparation.

Times are from noon-1 p.m. Oct. 14 at the U-M Medical Campus, Towsley Center, Dow Auditorium (sign up by Oct. 7); noon-1 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Michigan Union Rogel Ballroom (sign up by Oct. 21); and 2-3 p.m. Nov. 2 at the UM-Dearborn University Center, Kochoff Hall (sign up by Oct. 26).
