Flint, Dearborn campuses report fall enrollment increases

Fall enrollment has increased at U-M’s campuses in Flint and Dearborn.

UM-Flint saw its fall enrollment go up for the fourth year in a row, exceeding its strategic goal of 8,000 students. At UM-Dearborn, enrollment this fall is at its highest point since 2003, and 137 students below its largest total ever.

UM-Flint reported 8,138 students, a 4.6 percent increase over Fall 2009, when 7,773 students were enrolled. UM-Dearborn reported a total enrollment of 8,885 students, up 243 students, or 2.8 percent from last year.
