Nominees sought for distinguished innovator, staff excellence awards

University leaders are seeking nominees for awards honoring excellence among faculty innovators and staff.

The Office of the Vice President for Research is accepting nominations for the 2011 Distinguished University Innovator Award. Any member of the university community may nominate someone for the award.

Nominees must be tenured, tenure-track or research faculty, or a team of up to three individuals led by such faculty member. The award comes with a $5,000 honorarium to the individual winner or shared by the team winners. The deadline for nominations is Nov. 12.
