Bursley team tastes rib contest victory for second straight year
Joyua Williams and Ronda Jones know success is sweeter – or spicier – the second time around.

Repeating their performance of last year, the pair from Bursley Dining Hall won the Judges Choice award in the third annual "Hot Off the Grill BBQ Rib Competition" for University Housing Residential Dining Services.
Five teams from residential dining halls dished out their best rib and vegetarian side dish recipes Wednesday at the Hill Dining Center.
While a panel of three volunteer judges sampled the recipes to render their decision for the best rib, students eagerly lined up inside the Marketplace for the chance to try each of the entries and vote for their favorite.
The Crowd Favorite award, voted by the students and guest diners, was a tie shared by the Williams-Jones team and Tangyika Maddox and Tina Weatherspoon from East Quad dining.
Other contestants included: Keyshia Evans and Byron Miller from the Hill Dining Center; Nick Ringe and Antwan Williams from North Quad, and Amanda Grove and James Bargo from Hill Dining Center. Residential Dining Services employees Sandy Lowry, Dave Kluck and Nate Jones judged the entries.
