ITS Service Center streamlines process for support contacts

The ITS Service Center now has a single email address and phone number for the campus community to use when seeking answers to questions for Information and Technology Services.

To reach the service center:

• Visit — and bookmark — the Web page at its.umich.edu/help

“We are constantly striving to improve our support to campus,” says Mike Loviska, executive director of process and service management for the IT Rationalization Program Office. “Having a single email address and phone number is an example of the continuous improvement.”

Hours of operation for the service center have been expanded. It is open 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday (for phone and email inquiries), and 1-5 p.m. Sunday (email only).

In past years, the ITS Service Center has had a number of names. Students knew it as 4HELP and the Accounts Office. Staff knew it as the MAIS Help Desk, 4HELP, Access Services, and Access and Accounts.
