Provost offers update on student access
Provost Phil Hanlon provided a brief update on access to U-M by prospective undocumented students, during Thursday's Board of Regents meeting.
“We care deeply about this issue,” Hanlon said. “We will continue our collaboration with students and other key stakeholders to develop a practical response that is legally compliant and reflects the university’s core values of fairness to all students and commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive community.”
Several students also addressed the topic during the public comments portion of the meeting.
