Experts gather at U-M for conference on sex, gender and psychoactive substances
More than 50 researchers and scholars from across the country gathered at U-M this week for a conference about sex and gender in relation to the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. The meeting focused on crosscutting issues and themes in the study of sex/gender related to psychoactive substances.

April Moreau and Amy Fleischman share a passion for the entertainment industry. To prepare themselves and other students for a career in entertainment, the two 2012 spring graduates organized the UMEC-LA Networking Night to bring together past and present Wolverines interested in getting into entertainment. At the March event, students had the opportunity to network with successful alumni currently working in the industry and received advice about how to break into the competitive world.
