Bierbaum co-authors global development reportRosina Bierbaum, dean and professor of natural resources and environment, School of Natural Resources and Environment, is a co-author of the World Development Report 2010 released Sept. 15 on behalf of the World Bank. It addresses development challenges complicated by climate change, which threatens all countries, particularly developing ones. The report explores improving energy systems, land and water management and more to better serve an expanding and more prosperous population. Bierbaum spent more than a year overseeing the research and writing the WDR with Marianne Fay, a World Bank global economist.
