Program promotes alcohol moderation, safety
In continuing efforts to reduce the harmful consequences of alcohol use and to support non-drinkers the University has joined with local organizations to increase awareness about health and safety during two overlapping events that often prompt excessive alcohol use — St. Patrick’s Day and March Madness.

Children’s eye clinic to benefit from March Madness event
One team will win the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, but all children who visit the Kellogg Eye Center’s Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic are winners in the upcoming March Madness Against Blindness fundraiser.

Sound testing planned at Michigan Stadium
The University will conduct a sound test at Michigan Stadium from approximately 3:30-7 p.m. today. The test, which will involve generating a sound that is much like that of a cannon shot, will occur a limited number of times.
