Vote for your favorite UMMA Art Pick
As the U-M Museum of Art gets set to reopen March 28, following a two-year restoration and renovation project, a few friends of the museum are offering their favorites from selected works of art featured in the collection, and the museum invites the community to vote, as well. Both men’s basketball team co-captain David Merritt, left, and basketball player C.J. Lee selected the same artwork. Merritt says he was drawn to its “beautiful architectural lines” while Lee appreciates the piece’s detail, history and symbolism.
