University partners with chemistry firm at North Campus Research Complex

Dr. Paul Herrinton of BoroPharm works inside the company's new location on U-M's North Campus Research Complex. U-M has forged an important public-private partnership with BoroPharm, a chemical development and manufacturing business founded in 2005 by two Michigan State University professors. The firm began moving in mid-May to Building 40, a specialized free-standing chemical production building at the NCRC.

Ford School dean on Capitol Hill

Robots, remarks commemorate naval engineering center

Area high school students and incoming U-M freshmen race Sea Perch underwater robots in a competition at the Class of '47E Reflecting Pool and Fred's Fountain behind the Lurie Engineering Center. The July 26 race, which was organized by the Office of Naval Research, along with remarks from federal lawmakers commemorated the launch of the Naval Engineering Education Center. NEEC is a U-M-led program designed to train the next generation of world-class naval systems engineers. Speakers included David Munson, the Robert J.
