The Michigan Difference

Zachary Ciullo is a big man with a big heart. The 6-foot-1-inch, 270-pound Wolverine left guard may intimidate football opponents, but off the field he’s more about helping than hitting. A member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and Student-Athletes Leading Social Change, Ciullo has aided charities through Mock Rock, helped build a school in Kenya and was co-captain of the football team’s Relay for Life team. Football, he says, has “opened a lot of doors for philanthropy.”
