Campus memorial program set for Monday

The U-M community is invited to a new campus tradition: a memorial program to honor the lives and accomplishments of the students who have passed away during the year.   

A Campus Memorial will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. Monday in the Kuenzel Room of the Michigan Union. This year 14 members of the U-M student community will be remembered for their contributions and companionship.  

The program will include remarks by Reid Hamilton, chair of the Association of Religious Counselors, and E. Royster Harper, vice president for student affairs. Reflection and prayers from several faiths will be offered, as well as personal remembrances of the students.
