High school students launch model rockets from the North Campus Diag as part of a presentation by graduate students in the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences to demonstrate principles related to propulsion, and to expose students to the field of engineering. More than 70 high school students were on campus Sunday-Tuesday for College 101, organized by the Center for Educational Outreach. U-M Library to share HathiTrust orphan works
U-M Library users soon will have access to digital versions of some of the thousands of orphan works held in common by the U-M Library and the HathiTrust Digital Library. Making these works available in HathiTrust will render them fully searchable, viewable, and accessible to U-M researchers via the Internet.

New Ronald McDonald House allows families to be closer to children
When the new C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital opens this November, families with critically ill children will be able to find a place to rest at the new Ronald McDonald House within C.S. Mott. The new facility is one of only five such Ronald McDonald Houses within a children’s hospital in the world.
