Volunteers sought for Voices of the Staff network groups

Voices of the Staff is seeking volunteers to join six network groups to continue the dialogue between administration and staff that began in February 2005 when the first VOICES network was formed.

VOICES provides a formal means for staff members to share their ideas with university executives on campus community issues, and serves as a sounding board for leadership about issues affecting staff.

University staff with at least one year of service can volunteer to serve on the network group of their choice by completing an application. Members are chosen from the pool of applicants to create a microcosm of the larger U-M staff community in terms of career families, academic and administrative units, and other demographic factors.

VOICES members meet for 1 1/2 hours each month to serve in a network of six topic-specific groups.
