Use of M+Box storage program continues to grow on campus
M+Box, the newest addition to U-M's collaboration and storage solutions, recently surpassed 17,000 users. The university is Box's biggest educational client and second largest account nationwide.

Doctor of Nursing Practice program accredited at UM-Flint
The UM-Flint Department of Nursing has received notification that the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools has accredited its Doctor of Nursing Practice program. The DNP is a terminal professional degree intended primarily to prepare registered nurses for advanced practice roles such as family, adult, and psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioners.

SPH formalizes collaboration with Public Health Foundation of India
School of Public Health Dean Martin Philbert and Dr. K. Srinath Reddy, president of the Public Health Foundation of India, have signed a memorandum of understanding that serves as a basis for research collaboration, joint publication, and training exchanges between the two institutions.

Three weeks in Ghana
This past August, Charlie Michaels, coordinator for Detroit Connections at the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design, led 10 undergraduate students on a three-week international experience in Ghana, West Africa. While there, they worked on projects in which they engaged with local children and artists, and worked toward solving an environmental problem by making charcoal out of corn cobs.
